Buying Cheap Quad Bikes

If you are looking at buying cheap Quad Bikes from an auction site you need to be buy with extreme caution - over the last few months we have been notified by official sources (Police) that with the large amount of bikes that have been stolen this year, many are turning up on auction sites under new identities. And, the main issue with the auction sites is they do not adopt a policy where by making it easy to get your money back should you get caught out.

This is where we are completely different, where by we will always help any buyer or seller that feels they are or have been misled into buying or selling something which is not completely above board. We will always work closely with authorities to make sure we maintain a safe marketplace for both buyers and sellers, no matter what the situation.

Selling A Quad Bike

If you are looking at selling a Quad Bike then you need to act fast and get it listed today - and here is a few  tips and tricks which will make your bike stand out in the crowd and bring in more buyers fast:

  • Use the full model specification in the correct way - so if you are selling a Yamaha Raptor, then make sure you include all of the correct detail in the make and model text boxes when listing. In the make box use the full make and model eg: Yamaha YFM 700 Raptor R SE if that is the model, this way when it gets collected by Google to arrive in the results pages, it will get collected for a multitude of words and not just Yamaha Raptor.

  • If like many people you have a camera phone or camcorder, take a 3 minute video and upload it to YouTube so you can place the link on the listing. If you don't have a YouTube account, then zip the video and send it to us and we will upload it for you and send you the link, which can then be added to the listing through your account - or we can do this on your behalf if you ask nicely.

  • Photo's are a great seller - so when listing your machine make sure the one picture that will show up in the default within the listing is set at an angle so that you get a "front" and "side" close up - when taking the picture, make sure you are at the same hight as the machine and as close as you can get so the whole bike shows up in the shot and nothing in the background.

  •  On the video, also use some salesmanship about your bike and talk about it - it has been proven that when someone actually talks about the bike they are selling, it puts potential buyers at ease. You don't have to be in the video yourself, but if you have that honest face, it will never hurt to place a few seconds of you at the start, and the end.

  • Never give out personal details and the registration number of the bike - unless you want every Tom, Dick or Harry calling you at ridiculous hours of the day and night. Anyone who is interested can use the "CONTACT THE SELLER" button on the page, and once they have made contact you can let them have your details, and a small note about what time you are available.
