How Good Will WBR 2010 Be?

 

Well, after all the problems last year, I think that RHL Activities has learned a very valuable lesson - if someone tells you that the tide is high, then don't try and narrow the starting grid as they don't all fit!

I know, it was a shame what happened and my feelings go out to all the riders who were involved in both accidents on the Saturday and Sunday, but it just reinforces how safety is the paramount and most important factor when setting up an event as big as Weston Beach Race.

That aside, the event may not draw as much this year due to the way the responses were handled last year, having received some emails from both riders and spectators showing extreme annoyance at the way they were treated following the close down of the event.

Will The Crowds Return?

Only time will tell, and once RHL have announced what is happening on the news feed, we will get as much information posted on here so that you can find out first exactly what the score is.

 The one thing we do know for sure, are the dates:

October 15th - 17th 2010

So keep those dates free, because as long as the tide isn't in, I'm convinced that we will get things back in order, and have that one spectacular event that we all have come to love and enjoy..
